Declaration to Overcome Insomnia

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I come to You believing Your Word and trusting Your promises over my life.

You said in Psalm 121:3–4 that You never sleep nor slumber, and because You watch over me, I can rest without fear.

Lord, I refuse the grip of insomnia. I reject every anxious thought and every restless pattern that tries to disturb my sleep.

Your Word says in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all my cares upon You, because You care for me. Right now, I release every burden, every worry, every fear into Your hands.

Tonight, my mind will be still because You keep me in perfect peace.

Your Word declares in Isaiah 26:3 that You keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on You. So now I fix my thoughts on Your goodness and Your faithfulness.

I speak peace over my mind and body.

I declare Philippians 4:7 over myself: the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guards my heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, Your presence is my resting place.

You promised in Psalm 4:8, “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”

So I declare that tonight I will sleep peacefully, deeply, and uninterrupted.

Every spiritual attack, every tormenting thought, every cycle of sleeplessness — be broken in Jesus’ name.

Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7 that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. I receive that sound mind tonight.

Lord, let Your rest fall on me.

In Matthew 11:28, Jesus said, “Come unto Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

So I come to You, and I receive that rest now.

I decree that my sleep is blessed.

Proverbs 3:24 declares, “When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.”

Therefore, my sleep IS sweet. My nights ARE peaceful. My rest IS restored.

From this night forward:

-My mind is calm.

-My body relaxes.

-My thoughts submit to Christ.

-My sleep returns and remains.

Insomnia has no authority over me, and I walk in the rest of God.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.
